SAP Support Consultant – 6 Months – £350-£400 Per Day – Outside IR35

Please note this role is remote working but it would be helpful if the candidate is open to visiting the client’s side in England on occasion.

bluewaveSELECT have been retained by a global organisation to engage with the right SAP Support Consultant to support with their global SAP ECC6.0 system.

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Support Consultant, providing expert support for SAP ECC 6.0 across multiple business functions. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Systems, along with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is desirable.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day functional support and troubleshooting for SAP ECC 6.0 modules, particularly in Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Systems.
• Analyse and resolve SAP-related incidents, ensuring timely resolution and minimal business disruption.
• Work closely with business users to understand their requirements and provide solutions within SAP.
• Perform system configuration, enhancements, and testing as required.
• Support end-users with training, documentation, and guidance on SAP best practices.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, IT governance, and SAP standards.
• Identify opportunities for system improvements and efficiency gains.

Skills & Experience Required:

• 3+ years of experience in SAP ECC 6.0 support, specialising in Finance, Supply Chain, and Project Systems modules.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills in an SAP support environment.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in SAP system configuration, troubleshooting, and user support.
• Understanding of business processes and ability to translate them into SAP solutions.
• Knowledge of integration points between SAP FI/CO, MM, SD, and PS modules.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• SAP certification in relevant modules (FI/CO, Supply Chain, or Project Systems).
• Experience with SAP migration or upgrade projects.
