Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced SAP Functional Specialist to join our team for a senior consulting role. This position involves working on cutting-edge retail solutions, with a focus on inventory management, supply chain processes, and system integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with business experts and stakeholders to analyse and document requirements.
- Write detailed functional specifications and facilitate walkthroughs with developers.
- Provide guidance to developers by supplying test data and clarifications.
- Conduct functional testing to ensure high-quality deliveries.
- Perform root cause analysis for reported issues and recommend solutions.
- Maintain and oversee a complex configuration of batch jobs.
- Utilize tools such as Jira and Active Control to manage tasks efficiently.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Strong expertise in SAP Inventory Management (MM/SD).
- Experience with SAP Retail, particularly in the order-to-cash process.
- In-depth understanding of how stock count processes integrate end-to-end with allocation, replenishment, sales, BOPIS, and storage management.
- Solid knowledge of supply chain challenges and article master data in SAP Retail.
- Proficient in specifying integration contracts and testing integrations from a functional perspective.
- Demonstrated experience with structured tools like Jira and Active Control.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in retail environments.
- Analytical problem-solving skills with a structured approach to working.
