SAP Program Manager

SAP RISE Program Manager – 6-12 months – German Speaking is a MUST – 800-1000/day

30-40% travel to central Germany expected (expensed by the client)
We are seeking an experienced SAP RISE Program Manager to lead a high-impact SAP implementation program focused on IS-Hmed and GxP-regulated clinical systems. This role requires a deep understanding of SAP for healthcare environments, particularly IS-Hmed, and proven experience managing complex integrations with electronic medical records (EMR), laboratory systems, radiology platforms, and pharmacy workflows.

This is a critical leadership position that will interface with stakeholders across clinical, IT, and compliance functions to ensure successful design, deployment, and integration of SAP solutions aligned with healthcare operational and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end program management for SAP IS-Hmed implementation within a regulated healthcare environment.
• Drive planning, budgeting, resource management, and delivery across multiple SAP workstreams.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams including SAP architects, integration specialists, validation experts, and clinical stakeholders.
• Oversee the integration of SAP IS-Hmed with EMR, lab information systems (LIS), radiology information systems (RIS), and pharmacy systems.
• Ensure all solutions comply with GxP regulations, including support for validation and audit-readiness of electronic medical records.
• Manage stakeholder engagement and change management across clinical and IT departments.
• Monitor program risks, issues, and dependencies and ensure timely resolution and escalation.
• Provide executive-level reporting and updates to internal leadership.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of SAP program/project management experience, with recent focus on healthcare industry solutions.
• Proven delivery experience with SAP IS-Hmed in a clinical or hospital setting.
• Strong knowledge of GxP compliance, especially around electronic medical records and clinical data integrity.
• Demonstrated experience in integrating SAP systems with:
• Electronic Medical Records (EMR)
• Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
• Radiology Information Systems (RIS)
• Pharmacy and medication management platforms
• Solid understanding of clinical workflows and regulatory constraints in healthcare environments.
• Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills.
• PMP, Prince2, or similar project management certification is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in multinational, matrixed organizations.
• Familiarity with HL7/FHIR healthcare integration standards.
• Background in life sciences, pharma, or clinical research operations is an advantage.
• German language skills (if applicable to project location) would be beneficial.
