bluewaveSELECT is headhunting for an SAP BI/BW Developer to join a manufacturing end user on a permanent basis. 
Onsite, 4/5 days per week – offices are South Yorkshire
£55k plus benefits.
  
This role would suit someone with experience in SAP BI and BW, who can work closely with users and stakeholders to understand business needs, to create meaningful reports for the business to use/make decisions.
  
Key Responsibilities

• Work closely with the business to analyse and understand the reporting requirements, whilst developing and maintaining effective working relationships
• Provide BW/BI support for business and IT projects
• Design and development of SAP and BW data cubes and sources for BI reporting
• Specification, design, and implementation of reports using the SAP BI Portfolio, primarily SAC
• Champion best practices
• Create documentation, functional specifications, training and testing scripts
• SAP ABAP – reporting and transactional

  
Key Skills

• 3-5 years’ experience across SAP BI/BW
• SAP BW data build skills
• SAP Analytics Cloud experience – highly desirable
• Experience of developing system training material to support others in the business, and immediate team
• Extensive stakeholder management – ability to build relationships, translate technical jargon and create reports accordingly
• Proficiency with ABAP programming
• Additional knowledge across SAP modules would be useful
• Manufacturing sector or similar ideally
