SAP Finance Specialist (Banking, Treasury, Cash Management) – Sweden – £550-600/day (OUTSIDE IR-35)

About the Role:
As a Software Engineer, you will work with a highly skilled team to maintain and develop our SAP solution end-to-end. This includes initiating, designing, creating functional requirements, testing, and configuring SAP. You will have the opportunity to work on both global rollouts of the template solution and strategic maintenance, providing a chance to learn, develop, and participate in various initiatives. We prioritize compliance, quality, and efficiency in our financial, accounting, and controlling processes and solutions.
  
About the Team:
You will be part of a cross-functional team working within the Record to Report (R2R) product, part of Product Area Finance. The R2R team consists of 15 members, including Business and Application Experts. Product Area Finance is responsible for the company’s financial applications, covering Financial Closing and Reporting, Organizational Structure, Intercompany Reconciliation, and Treasury & Cash Management.
We are seeking an experienced individual to manage support and maintenance within the Banking and Treasury areas, which includes Vendor Payments, Bank Communication Management (BCM), FICA Customer Outgoing Payments, Electronic Bank Statement Setup and Mapping, Treasury and Risk Management. The role will also involve bank integration, cash pools, and intercompany netting.

Responsibilities:

• Enable business development through system and business expertise, proposing high-level solutions and guiding design in roll-out or other projects to secure the global template.
• Analyse business requirements and devise solutions.
• Configure and/or write technical specifications to develop new functionality.
• Test, support, and maintain the product within Record to Report.

  
Required Skills & Experience:

• 5-8 years of experience in SAP Finance, specifically in Payment Area, Banking, Cash Management, and Treasury within SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
• Participation in 1-2 implementations and 1-2 support projects.
• Proficiency in SAP FICO configuration, requirement/gap analysis, creation of functional specifications, testing, user training & documentation, and support.
• Ability to explain complex finance, accounting, and SAP topics to stakeholders.
• Experience with SAP transportation management tools like STMS, Solution Manager, Active Control.
• Experience developing WRICEF objects (Workflow, Reports, Interfaces, Conversion, Enhancement, and Forms).
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (SAFE or similar).
• Understanding of financial processes in a large organization.

  
Additional Beneficial Skills:

• Experience with Treasury solutions, including add-ons or alternatives to SAP’s solutions.
• Experience in the Retail industry, particularly SAP FI-CA.
• Experience with SAP e-Documents cockpit and Document Compliance Reporting.
• Experience with SAP Financial Closing Cockpit or similar tools.
