SAP S/4 HANA Finance Data Expert – 12 Months – £500-£650 Per Day – Outside IR35

Please note this role requires 3 days onsite in Luton, UK.

bluewaveSELECT have been retained by a global organisation to engage with the right Senior AI & ML Engineer to support with a global SAP S/4HANA implementation with a huge pharmaceutical company.

The SAP S/4HANA Finance Data Expert is responsible for coordinating business data requirements within the related S/4HANA design process, providing best practice data concept proposals into the design process, defining and documenting relevant S/4HANA Enterprise Data Standards, and ensuring that existing SAP data is ready to migrate to S/4HANA.

The role is aligned to the Enterprise Process Owner (EPO), Enterprise Planning and Management Reporting (EP&MR) organisation and supports the EP&MR Data Design Lead in cementing the relationship between the S/4HANA Data & Analytics organisation and the EPO organisation, whilst proactively engaging with the wider business (including data offices and governance forums) to ensure that the S/4HANA data design meets business requirements, aligns to SAP standard where possible, and supports efforts to achieve a Quality Core.
The role will support the implementation of design concepts for key data objects such as Profit Centres, Cost Centres, WBS elements and Margin Analysis characteristics (COPA fields) whilst implementing in the business’ pioneer markets.

Required:

• Familiarity with SAP or S/4HANA data constructs relevant to planning and management reporting such as Profit Centre, Cost Centre, Product Hierarchies, COPA/Margin Analysis.
• Demonstrable knowledge of how business data requirements support process execution and analytics, with the ability to explain complex data concepts to business users.
• Demonstrable experience of delivering business outcomes in a global, matrix organisation.
• Demonstrable SAP working knowledge across transactions and reporting in an SAP environment, including an understanding of how data integrates within an SAP architecture.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a diverse, global team, within and across functions. Experience with global working and across cultures.
• Demonstrate strong communication skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives.
• Ability to support negotiations across a complex group, to a target outcome for EP&MR.
• Ability to effectively prioritise to ensure goals and outcomes are achieved.
• Qualified Accountant with experience of planning and management reporting.

Desirable:

• S/4HANA implementation experience.
• Experience in life sciences and healthcare.
• Experience in Data Governance.
• Experience in measuring, managing and improving Data Quality.
