SAP FMS Consultant (S/4HANA) – Netherlands/Denmark – Remote – Flexible Rate
We are seeking a skilled SAP FMS (Fashion Management Solution) Consultant with extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA, preferably with background knowledge in SAP AFS (Apparel and Footwear Solution), SAP CAR (Customer Activity Repository), and SAP SD/MM modules. This role is ideal for someone comfortable in large-scale retail environments and looking to make a significant impact on critical projects across Europe. Starting as a contract role with immediate availability, this position offers potential for a full-time, permanent transition as needs evolve.
Responsibilities:
- Consult and Advise: Engage with clients to understand their fashion and retail-specific needs and translate them into tailored SAP FMS and CAR solutions.
- Implement SAP FMS on S/4HANA: Lead or support SAP FMS implementations, ensuring seamless integration with CAR, SD, and MM modules for comprehensive retail management.
- Retail-Specific Expertise: Provide expertise in the SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) and MM (Materials Management) modules, ensuring that all processes-from sales to supply chain-are effectively integrated.
- SAP CAR Utilization: Leverage SAP CAR to provide Real Time, customer-centric insights, helping clients drive better decision-making and optimize inventory across channels.
- Customization and Configuration: Configure FMS, CAR, SD, and MM modules to align with client goals, adapting workflows to meet industry standards and specific business requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and client stakeholders to drive alignment and ensure successful implementations.
- Training and Documentation: Develop training programs for client teams and document solutions to support ease of use and ongoing maintenance.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in SAP consulting, with strong hands-on experience in SAP FMS on S/4HANA and practical knowledge of SAP CAR, SD, and MM. Prior experience with SAP AFS is highly beneficial.
- Industry Expertise: Proven track record in fashion and retail, understanding the unique processes and challenges of these industries.
- Technical Proficiency: In-depth knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, FMS, CAR, SD, and MM. Familiarity with integration points between modules is a significant plus.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues to ensure optimal system performance and minimal operational disruption.
- Communication and Consulting: Strong interpersonal and consulting skills, with a proven ability to work directly with clients, understand their needs, and propose effective solutions.
