SAP FICO Specialist

bluewave is headhunting for an SAP FICO Specialist to join a global manufacturing end user on a permanent basis.

This opportunity is to support the global rollout and future migration to S/4.

Salary: £80-85k plus bonus and benefits including enhanced pension scheme.

Working pattern: hybrid, with 4 days onsite (West Midlands or Hertfordshire).

Key responsibilities;

  • Lead and support across the SAP full lifecycle – from design through to implementation and post go live support
  • Conduct business analysis and requirements gathering to enable the business to meet objectives
  • Interpret business needs and translate those into application and operational requirements
  • Identify, scope and document modifications/enhancements
  • Collaborate with wider business, developers and SMEs to establish technical vision and performance needs
  • Proactively communicate and collaborate to analyse functional requirements
  • Continuous improvement mindset – identifying areas to improve, driving activity and efficiency to meet global business goals

Key skills;

  • Demonstrable SAP FICO experience, end to end – including configuration
  • Expertise across SD integration, tax codes, accounting applications, etc
  • Extensive stakeholder management, all levels of seniority – ability to build effective relationships, manage expectations and translate jargon where required
  • ECC6 experience and S/4HANA is desirable
  • Ability to comfortably work in project mode and BAU, with an eye for continuous improvement
  • Excellent communication, presentation and influencing skills
  • Global exposure – ability to work across time zones
  • Manufacturing industry (or similar) – highly desirable
