We’re headhunting for an SAP Environments Manager to join an end user organisation.
A hybrid pattern with 2-3 days onsite per week, North of England
Responsible for managing the SAP environments, ensuring optimal performance, availability and security.
Key responsibilities
- Manage and maintain multiple SAP environments adhering to an ambitious roadmap
- Coordinately upgrades, patching and migrations in line with business objectives
- Oversee and gatekeep the environment and SAP performance monitoring
- Effectively manage scheduling and execution of environment refreshes
- Build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation, providing ongoing support
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across SAP whilst ensuring system stability
Key skills
- Demonstrable experience as an SAP Environments Manager
- SAP BASIS knowledge
- S/4 HANA experience is desirable
- Confidence gatekeeping and managing SAP landscapes ensuring system security and stability
- Expertise across managing change requests, releases and defect management
- Process driven with an eye for continuous improvement
- Proven experience across SAP upgrades, migration and environment refreshes
- Ability to champion best practice
- Significant stakeholder management, up to c-suite – passionate about building relationships, leveraging SAP and supporting business wise
- A team player with excellent communication and presentation skills
